Another week, another heat warning for southern Saskatchewan.

Environment and Climate Change Canada issued the warning for southern areas of the province at 10:31 a.m. on Wednesday.

Today's daytime high is expected to reach 32 degrees Celsius in Moose Jaw, climbing further to 34 degrees with the Humidex.

The hot weather is expected to stick around through the overnight period on Friday, before cooling down on the weekend.

People are encouraged to drink lots of water and stick to cool areas indoors when possible, and in the shade when outside.
