Most car shows feature older vehicles for the public to enjoy. However, the Next Gen Car Club has more modern approach to their shows.
On Sunday, August 11th, from 11 AM to 6 PM the Highway 1 Touring Car Show makes it stop inside the Town n' Country Mall at the old Sear's location. Jordan Myers, Marketing Coordinator with the Next Gen Car Club, pointed out that funds go towards show expenses and non-profits.
"When the Next Gen Car Club does their big shows, and huge chunk of the funds goes towards the Moose Jaw Humane Society or the Moose Jaw & District Food Bank. It's just for bring the people together," said Myers.
The Next Gen Car Club hosts a multitude of shows throughout the year in Regina and area. The event targets younger car enthusiasts and collectors in the area with newer vehicles on display.
"You could see anything from modern muscle, classic muscle, highly modified imports, and we've even had Lamborghinis and Porsches come to these shows," stated Myers.
