The Moose Jaw Miller Express are moving on to round two of the Western Canadian Baseball League.
Moose Jaw won game one on the road Wednesday night with a score of 4 - 3. Game two of the first-round match-up ended with a Moose Jaw Miller Express victory over the Regina Red Sox on Thursday night at Ross Wells Park.
The first two innings went Moose Jaw's way with a 2 - 0 lead entering the third. Regina would bounce back in the third and fourth innings as they took a 5 - 4 lead. At the top of the fifth, the Miller Express blanked the Red Sox while scoring four runs at the bottom of the inning with a grand slam. With a 7 - 5 lead, both teams blanked through the sixth and seventh innings. Regina would bring it back within one run during the eighth inning.
