Tammy Ramler
October 10, 1970 – August 9, 2024
Tammy (nee Frank) Ramler was born to Lloyd & Annabelle (nee Schultz) Frank in Humboldt, SK, on October 10, 1970. Tammy was the youngest of 5 siblings, and grew up near Annaheim. During her schooling years, she was very active in sports and volunteered the St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Humboldt as a Candy Striper. She had so much love for FAMILY, FRIENDS, and DOGS. She had dogs all her life. When her last dog, Ringo Star came into her life in of May of 2011, Ringo became her true love. Everything was Ringo Star. Unfortunately, her Ringo Star passed away June of 2022, taking a part of her heart and life with him. Tammy spoke of him all the time, right up to her passing. RIP Tammy, you are now with your love, Ringo.
After Tammy graduated, she took hairdressing, which lead her to work in Humboldt then in Kelvington, where she was married for 24 years. Tammy was diagnosed with MS in the spring of 1996, and she fought a hard battle all her life. Tammy was a fighter, and so very strong. After Tammy’s marriage ended, she moved to Annaheim, Tisdale, then finally to Middle Lake where she lived in Bethany Pioneer Village for almost a year. Tammy was determined to remain independent and bought a house in Kelvington of June 2024 and called Kelvington her home. She was going to prove she could live on her own, but unfortunately, with broken hearts, she couldn’t do it. Tammy spent her final days in Kelvington Hospital with exceptional care until her passing, with her two sisters by her side.
Tammy made friends everywhere she went and most of them were still friends to this day. Tammy was an outgoing person, and there was never a dull moment when she was around. She loved pulling jokes on people, spending time at the family cabin with family and friends at Barrier Lake, and when Tammy was around she was always the DJ, playing all different types of music. She definitely had some interesting music. We always spoke of all the fun times we had at the family cabin. Tammy was the life of the party. In 2016, when dad got sick, the cabin was sold and was never the same.
Well Tammy, you are now resting in peace with your Ringo and dad. Til we meet again.
Always loved and never forgotten.
Tammy will be sadly missed by her mom Annabelle (nee Schultz) Frank, 4 siblings and their families: CORINNE (Mark) Cody and her daughter Nichole; BRUCE (Brenda) Frank and his son Cory (Amber) Frank and children Shelbyann, Kamara, and Jayla; KIM (Dennis) Kowalchuk; and OWEN (Brenda) Frank; many uncles and aunts: Dale (Linda) Schultz and family of Humboldt, SK, Dorothy Ann Olson and family of Plenty, SK, Roger (Betty) Frank and family of BC, and Glenn (Linda) Frank of BC; special friends Carla Frank and family, Ardel & Sheila Skaalrud, Maurice & Sandra Draude and family, and too many more to mention. Tammy was predeceased by her dad Lloyd on September 25, 2023 and her special love, Ringo, on June 7, 2022.
