The Moose Jaw Miller Express gave the Saskatoon Berries a taste of their own medicine for game two of the playoff series.
Saskatoon made their way into Moose Jaw with a 1-0 series lead after a 14 - 1 victory in game one. It was a do-or-die situation on Monday night for the Miller Express.
In the first four innings, the Miller Express came out firing with an 11-point lead. Saskatoon would put a sizable dent in the lead at the top of the fifth with 5 runs as Moose Jaw would answer back with a single run at the bottom of the fifth, making the score 12 - 5. The sixth and eighth innings were once again controlled by the Miller Express with 5 more points added on to bring their total to 17 runs on the evening. Saskatoon would pad their stats in the ninth with one last run to make the final score 17 - 6.
The third & final game of the series is Tuesday, August 13 in Saskatoon as the Miller Express will book their ticket to the finals with a win.
