Art lovers and would-be artists have an opportunity to launch into an exciting brand of printing making with this Saturday’s workshop on cyanotype printing. The workshop is scheduled this Saturday from 1 – 4 pm at the Humboldt and District Gallery.
In this workshop, participants will learn the process of using chemically coated paper, botanicals, and sunlight to create unique cyan-blue prints. This workshop is BYOB - Bring Your Own Botanicals! Participants are encouraged to bring a collection of plants to use to make patterns for their cyanotype projects. All other supplies will be provided.
The workshop is led by Ann Poggemiller, a Tisdale artist who is inspired by nature in all her work and uses the plants she finds around her to create her stunning cyan-blue images.
