Jacob J. Rempel, 97, of Altona formerly of Blumenort South, passed away Saturday, August 17th at Eastview Place. He is survived by 4 daughters, 2 sons, and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Gertrude.
The celebration of life for Jacob J. Rempel will be held Saturday, August 24th 11:30am at Altona Bergthaler Mennonite Church with private burial prior to the service at Altona Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Foodgrains Bank.

Jacob J. Rempel, age 97 years of Altona, formerly of Blumenort South, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Eastview Place.
He is survived by his children Susan (David) Reid, Elaine (Garry) Russell, Esther (Ken) Enns, Harv (Eva) Rempel, Marlene (Ralph) Wagner, and Steve (Carol) Rempel, as well as 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother. He was predeceased by his wife Gertrude Rempel (nee Wiebe) in 2016.
A celebration of Jacob's life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at the Altona Bergthaler Mennonite Church. A private interment will be held prior to the service at the Altona Cemetery.
