Jacob Wiens, 86, of Steinbach formerly of Grunthal and the Pansy area, passed away Wednesday, August 21st at Bethesda Regional Health Centre. He is survived by his wife Nettie, 3 daughters, 6 sons, 1 sister, 1 brother and their families.He was predeceased by his first wife Justina, his second wife Anna, 1 daughter, 4 sons, 1 granddaughter and 1 great-grandson.
The funeral service for Jacob Wiens will be held Monday, August 26th at 2pm at New Bothwell Sommerfeld Church with burial at the church cemetery.
Viewing will be at Birchwood Funeral Chapel Sunday, August 25th from 7:30 to 8pm with a devotional at 8. Viewing will also be at the church prior to the service.
Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
