Man missing from downtown since Friday safely located

The Winnipeg Police Service says a missing 43-year-old man has been safely located.

The WPS said in a release sent out on Sunday that the man was last seen in the Downtown area of Winnipeg, at approximately 7 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024.

Police said the man may have been travelling to the Westman region of Manitoba but had not been seen.

Late on Monday afternoon the WPS sent out another release saying the man had been found safe.
