A motor vehicle collision west of Airdrie and north of Cochrane that had previously closed down a portion of the highway has been cleared.
According to reports, the collision was on Highway 22 near Highway 567. Motorists were urged to use alternate routes as emergency crews were on the scene.
There is no word on injuries. However, STARS air ambulance indicated that they had been dispatched to an emergency call in the Cochrane area, though it is unclear if they are responding to the collision.
