RCMP are asking the public for assistance in locating a missing 20-year-old male who may be in Winnipeg.
Shortly after midnight on Sept. 12, 2024, Powerview RCMP received a report of a missing 20-year-old from Powerview-Pine Falls.
Dyrese Courchene was last seen at approximately 6 p.m. on September 11, 2024, leaving the community and headed west in his pickup truck on Highway 304. At approximately 5 p.m. on September 12, 2024, it is believed Courchene’s vehicle was spotted on Route 90 south of Winnipeg. It has not been confirmed that Courchene was in the vehicle.
Courchene's family and friends have checked the areas he is known to frequent as he is an avid hunter and golfer. It is very unusual for Courchene to be out of touch with family and inaccessible by phone. His family and police are worried about his well-being.
Police believe Courchene could be in Winnipeg or Kenora, Ont.
Courchene is described as six feet tall, 243 pounds, with straight black hair covering his ears, and brown eyes. He wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a burgundy long-sleeve crew neck tee shirt and black sweatpants with sandals.
His pickup truck is a black Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab with Manitoba licence plate H11 457. It can be seen in the image below.
