Between September 6 and September 12, 2024, the Rosetown and Kyle RCMP responded to various incidents across the region, addressing a wide range of public safety concerns.

On September 7, Rosetown RCMP mediated a family dispute in Rosetown during the early morning hours. Later that day, Kyle RCMP responded to two separate fire incidents. The first occurred at 11:57 a.m. on Highway 4, involving a vehicle fire with no injuries reported. At 4:02 p.m., a combine and crop fire was reported on Highway 15. The fire was non-suspicious, and no injuries were reported.

On September 8, Kyle RCMP received two fraud complaints—one in the morning at 11:24 a.m. and another at 6:36 p.m.—both of which had insufficient evidence to proceed. That same day, Kyle RCMP also investigated a suspicious person complaint in Beechy.

In the evening of September 8, Rosetown RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 44. A 25-year-old man was transported to Rosetown Hospital for assessment following the crash.

Rosetown RCMP are currently investigating a break-and-enter incident reported in Lucky Lake shortly after midnight on September 9. Later that day, a 57-year-old woman from Rosetown was charged with uttering threats following a complaint received at 8:36 a.m.

On the evening of September 9, Kyle RCMP were called to a motor vehicle collision with a deer on Highway 44. No injuries were reported, and the incident was documented for insurance purposes.

Additional reports included erratic driving near Harris on September 9 and a harassing communications complaint in Rosetown on September 10. RCMP are also investigating an abandoned camper trailer found in Harris.

Throughout the week, RCMP issued 64 traffic-related charges, responded to one 911 misdial, and attended to four false alarm calls.
