21-month-old dead after being struck by vehicle in driveway

A toddler is dead after being struck by a car in a northern Manitoba community.

God's Lake Narrows RCMP say a pick-up truck struck the 21-month-old in the child's yard at around 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12.

The driver, a 45-year-old man who lives in the same residence, rushed the boy to the local Nursing Station, where he was pronounced  dead.

No charges have been laid.

The investigation continues.
