Flatlanders Speedway in Kindersley is gearing up for a thrilling weekend of high-speed action with its invitational event set for September 28 and 29. Racers from across western Canada will converge on the track for two days of intense competition.

The event will feature the PRDA touring series, with street stock, hobby stock, and modifieds taking to the raceway. One of the weekend’s unique highlights is the SIGA Dice Roll, where drivers roll dice to determine their starting position, adding an extra layer of excitement as they race to victory from their randomly chosen spots.

In addition to the PRDA series, Flatlanders will also showcase its regulars, including truck and running junk races. The crowd-favourite Legend series will make an appearance, and, in an unexpected twist, lawnmower races will add to the weekend’s fun.

The action kicks off at 4 p.m. on September 28 and continues at 1 p.m. on September 29, which is also designated as Kids' Day. Children 12 and under get free admission, and during the intermission, young fans will have the chance to meet the drivers. A special “kids' sand money pit” will give youngsters the opportunity to dig for money, while entertainment throughout the day promises fun for the whole family.

This weekend is shaping up to be an unforgettable experience for racing enthusiasts and families alike at Flatlanders Speedway.
