Emergency crews were called to a serious two-vehicle collision around 5:30 Tuesday evening at the intersection of Highway 12 and PR 210 near Ste. Anne.
Ste. Anne Fire Chief Bob Saindon says the collision involved a truck and an SUV. He says there were two people in the SUV and the driver was taken to hospital in Winnipeg by STARS Air Ambulance while the passenger was taken to hospital by ground ambulance.
Saindon notes the driver of the truck was not injured.
Ste. Anne fire crews remained at the scene of the collision until around 7:30 PM, however Saindon says an RCMP Traffic Analyst was called in to investigate the collision and stuck around until approximately 9:20 PM.
Traffic along both Highway 12 and PR 210 was affected as emergency crews cleaned up the scene and investigated the collision.
