According to RCMP, there were no serious injuries in a two vehicle collision Tuesday night just south of Winkler on Highway 32.

It was reported at 8:15 pm last night, and occurred about a mile south of the city at Road 10 North in the R.M. of Stanley. RCMP say an eastbound vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign on Road 10 North entering the intersection, and in doing so, collided with a southbound vehicle.

The 19-year-old male driver of the eastbound vehicle, from the municipality, was charged with Disobeying a Traffic Control Device and Failing to Wear Seatbelt.

The 22-year-old female driver of the southbound vehicle, from Schanzenfeld, suffered minor injuries.

Winkler Fire Department was also called to the scene Tuesday evening.
