The City of Moose Jaw is adding another cleanup day to the calendar.
After a successful spring cleanup held in May, the city is hosting a fall clean up on Oct. 5 for residents to pick up garbage and tidy up their respective areas of the city.
The event begins at 1 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Co-op Marketplace parking lot and the Community Clean Up Committee will supply garbage bags. It wraps up with a “thank you” barbecue courtesy of the Moose Jaw Co-op from 1 to 4 p.m.
Residents or groups interested in taking part can email cleanup@moosejaw.ca and let the city know which area of the city you’d like to clean up.
Residents are also invited to join the Clean Up MJ Facebook group and share ways you are helping the cause anytime before or after Oct. 5. You can post pictures and use the hashtag #CleanUpMJ.
