Motorcycles will be roaring down Main Street as the Moose Jaw Cycle Association’s 36th annual Toy Run is taking place on Saturday.

Bikers are invited to bring a new toy or cash donation that will go to support the Salvation Army and their Christmas hampers.

“Whatever kind of toys that you can find to purchase. They have all kinds of ages that need stuff, so it’s a wide variety of girls, boys, younger, older,” said Moose Jaw Cycle Association member Murray Roney.

Those wishing to take part in the Toy Run can meet on Manitoba Street at the bottom of the Fourth Avenue Bridge.

The parade will start at 2 p.m. sharp and will head up Main Street before making a left on to Thatcher Drive and ending at the Salvation Army church.

Following the event, there will be a steak night fundraiser at the Crush Can.

“That money we make from that we buy toques and mitts which go into the hampers for the kids at Christmas time for the Salvation Army,” Roney said.

Tickets for the steak night are $25 and tickets are available at the door.
