A woman from Lac du Bonnet says she is still in disbelief after learning of her winning $100,000 lottery ticket.
Gisele Campbell went for a run and came home $100,000 richer. She says it was during her run when she received an email informing her of her winning LOTTO MAX and EXTRA ticket. Campbell purchased her winning ticket for the August 20th draw on PlayNow.
"I was out for a run and heard my email notification in my earbuds," she says. "I got home, showered, and checked the email - wow."
PlayNow players receive an email the day after the draw if their ticket wins a major prize.
The winner says she was shocked when she read the email, a feeling she said her husband shares.
"He still doesn't believe me," she says. "I'm not even sure I believe it yet."
Campbell says she has not made any plans for her winnings, mostly because she is still in disbelief, but she hopes to take her family on a warm vacation this coming winter.
