Failure to Attend Court
On September 18th a 41-year-old male attended Brandon Police Service and surrendered himself knowing the Warrant for Arrest had been issued. The male was held in custody and will attend court in the morning on September 19th, 2024.
Assault
On September 18th a 49-year-old male attended Brandon Police Service and surrendered himself knowing the Warrant for Arrest had been issued. He was released via Appearance Notice with a court date of October 17th, 2024.
Failure to Attend Court
On September 18th a 22-year-old male attended Brandon Police Service and surrendered himself knowing the Warrant for Arrest had been issued. He was released via Appearance Notice with a court date of November 28th, 2024.
Failure to Comply Prohibition Order/ Uttering Threats / Assault
On the morning of September 18th police located a 44-year-old male in the 100 block of 6th Street wanted for an assault. The RCMP as well as BPS held a Warrant for Arrest, and he was arrested on the strength of those warrants. He was released via an Appearance Notice and Undertaking with a court date of October 17th, 2024.
Breach of Peace
On the evening of September 18th there were five separate incidents that resulted in Breach of Peace charges. All five situations resulted in the person being held in detention cells until sober.
