Town of Strathmore announces end of fire restrictions

The cooler temperatures in Strathmore and the lifting of water restrictions have caused the town to end its fire advisory.

"The town has no restriction in place outside of our regular fireworks and open burning permit requirements," says the Strathmore Fire Department in a Facebook post.

Rocky View County also lifted its fire restrictions a few weeks ago.

Wheatland County dropped its fire advisory on Tuesday (Sept. 24).
