Fatal collision claims life of 32-year-old Somerset man

A 32-year-old man is dead after being struck by a vehicle near Morden, late Tuesday night. 

Shortly before 10 p.m., Pembina Valley RCMP say they were called to Highway 3, near Road 25W, three kilometres east of Morden, for a man walking in the middle of the highway. 

As they were responding they received word the man had been struck by a vehicle. 

When officers arrived, they found a 32-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of the vehicle, a 17-year-old male from Winkler, remained at the scene. He was not physically injured. 

 Pembina Valley RCMP continue to investigate.
