Sports Round-Up: Friday, October 4

The Moose Jaw Warriors start their day in Lethbridge where they'll play the Hurricanes tonight. James Gallo has the pre-game show at 6:40 on Country 100 with play-by-play to follow.

The Warriors play the Tigers in Medicine Hat tomorrow night. They'll be back on home ice a week from tonight against the Everett Silvertips.

The Winmar AAA Warriors have a pair of home games at the Hangar this weekend against the Saskatoon Contacts. Puck drop tomorrow is 7 pm, and it’s a matinee on Sunday with a 1:30 start. 

4A 9-A-Side football later today will see Maple Creek in Lumsden, Notre Dame in Gull Lake, and Shaunavon will be visiting Moose Jaw Vanier at The Elks Athletic Field. 

5A 12-A-Side football tomorrow, it’s Balgonie in Swift Current, and at Gutheridge Field in Moose Jaw, it’ll be Central versus Weyburn and Peacock against Estevan. 

NFL last night, the Falcons felled the Buccaneers 36-30 in overtime. 

CFL tonight, it’s the Winnipeg Blue Bombers against the Hamilton Tiger Cats, and Calgary Stampeders play the BC Lions. The Saskatchewan Roughriders are visiting the Elks in Edmonton tomorrow.

Major League Baseball, the Mets will be facing the Phillies in the next round after beating the Brewers 4-2 in yesterday’s third and deciding Wildcard game. All four division series start tomorrow.
