The stars aligned for the Pembina Valley Astro Club's gathering in Altona last night.
Amateur and casual stargazers alike gathered at Access Field and led by Kenton Dyck, were first guided through some of the brightest stars followed by a viewing of Saturn. That was followed by a planned viewing of the Andromeda Galaxy and Double Cluster, concluding with the Pleiades star cluster.
Also dancing across the sky was the Northern Lights, an added treat for those who donned an extra layer and stayed up late on a school night.
That included Paul Peters and his family. Check out his photos below!
