Closure Details:

  • Eastbound Stoney Trail Ramp to Northbound Deerfoot Trail Northeast
    • Closure Period: Wednesday, October 9, from 9:00 p.m. to Thursday, October 10, at 5:00 a.m.
    • Detour: An on-site detour will be set up to assist commuters. Alternate routes are recommended during the closure period.
  • Southbound Deerfoot Trail Ramp to Eastbound Stoney Trail Northeast
    • Closure Period: Thursday, October 10, from 9:00 p.m. to Friday, October 11, at 5:00 a.m.
    • Detour: On-site detour available for drivers.

Commuters are advised to use alternate routes during these hours. These closures are active overnight, and maintenance crews will work 24 hours to ensure the bridge maintenance is completed on schedule.

Other important road work that might impact your commute 

Until the end of this month, drivers using Highway 567 westbound near the QEII should prepare for ongoing construction and delays. Steel girder repair work is underway and expected to continue 24 hours a day until November 1.

The construction began on September 17 and affects the on and off ramps from the QEII due to lane closures on westbound Highway 567.

Motorists can expect a speed reduction, no-passing zones, flag persons directing traffic, and an on-site detour. Drivers are advised to be prepared to stop and obey all posted signage to ensure safety throughout the area.
