The Moose Jaw Winmar AAA Warriors shutout the Notre Dame Hounds with a 5-0 win last night, improving to 4 and 1 on the season. Carson Deichert scored two times while Ryan Gibbs scored his 5th of the season and chipped in two assists.

The AAA's will be back on home ice for a matinee this Sunday against the Prince Albert Mintos, starting at 1:30 at the Moose Jaw Events Centre. 

There's Western Hockey League action at the Moose Jaw Events Centre tomorrow night as the Warriors host the Everett Silvertips.

NHL last night, the Winnipeg Jets pounded Edmonton 6-0. Montreal surprised the Maple Leafs 1-0 and the Calgary Flames came from behind to beat Vancouver 6-5 in overtime.

Junior Girls volleyball yesterday, Central Red beat Central Gold 2 sets to 1, it was Vanier over Riverview 2 sets to none, Central Gold shutout Peacock Green 2 sets to none, Vanier got a 2 sets to none win over Avonlea, and Central Red beat Peacock Green 2 sets to 1. 

Wednesday night Cash League Curling saw Fountain Tire earn an 8-3 win over RK Sunview, and Gray with a 9-4 win over Young & Young Automotive. Both Fountain Tire and Gray lead the standings with 2 and 0 records. 

4A 9-A-Side football tonight, Maple Creek will be visiting Notre Dame. 

5A 12-A-Side football tonight, MJ Peacock will visit the Greenall Griffins in Balgonie. 

Major League Baseball, the Detroit Tigers beat Cleveland 3-0, taking a 2-1 series lead. The Yankees lead their series two-games-to-one after a 3-2 win over Kansas City. The LA Dodgers beat San Diego 8-0, evening that series and 2 wins apiece AND, the Mets are moving on to the ALCS after a 4-1 win over the Phillies last night.
