The City of Moose Jaw’s Community Clean Up has been rescheduled to take place this Saturday.
The original clean up day was scheduled to take place on Oct. 5, but was postponed due to extremely high wind speeds.
The City of Moose Jaw’s Community Clean Up Committee is encouraging residents to come together to pick up garbage and tidy up their respective neighbourhoods on Saturday.
This is an informal event and residents and groups are asked to clean up at their own convenience, on the Saturday or another day and time that works best for them.
Garbage bags and gloves will be supplied by the city by request before Saturday. If you or your group needs bags or gloves, you can put in your request by emailing cleanup@moosejaw.ca
Residents taking part are asked to put the garbage they collect into their green bin. If the bag does not fit in the green bin, you can place the secured bag along the south fence of the city’s recycling depot on the 1000 block of High Street West on Saturday.
