They jumped out to an early 2-0 lead and never looked back. The Spokane Chiefs beat the Moose Jaw Warriors 7-4 last night. 

The Warriors will be back in action on home ice this Friday against the Medicine Hat Tigers.

Junior boys volleyball last night, it was Assiniboia over Notre Dame 2 sets to none, Notre Dame over Avonlea 2 sets to 1, Avonlea beat Assiniboia 2 sets to none, Central shutout Peacock 2 sets to none, Peacock beat Riverview 2 sets to none, Central beat Vanier 2 sets to none, and Central got a 2 sets to none win over Riverview. 

NHL last night, the Calgary Flames are 4 and 0 after a 3-1 win over Chicago.  The Edmonton Oilers won for the first time in 4 starts, a 4-3 overtime victory over Philadelphia and the Vancouver Canucks fell 4-1 to the Tampa Bay Lightning, 

Major League Baseball yesterday, the Yankees doubled up on the Guardians 6-3, extending their ALCS series lead 2 games to none. Later today, it’s the Dodgers versus the Mets. That series is tied at a win apiece.
