The Moose Jaw Co-op celebrated a major milestone this week.
On Wednesday, free cake was given out to patrons to help the Moose Jaw Co-op celebrate its 80th anniversary in business in our community.
Devin Rucks, Moose Jaw Co-op Food Store manager, talked about the excitement around this big milestone.
“(We’re) very excited. So later this week, we’re going to have some other special buys in the store here, just some 80 cent deals coming up in the future this week,” he said.
He added that it was important to celebrate this achievement with the community.
“I think it’s very important just to let our membership know how long we’ve been around and just giving them a little bit of cake to celebrate that,” Rucks said.
Along with free cake on Wednesday, the Moose Jaw Co-op Food Store will have a number of deals happening later this week.
Members can also share their stories about the Co-op over the past 80 years with the chance to win free Co-op coffee for a year and a new Keurig machine.
