The 17th annual Artists Among Us Gala is heading back to town this weekend.

The event is hosted by the Hope Bridges Society and takes place on Sunday (Oct. 20) at Hope Community Covenant Church in Strathmore.

"The gala is a delightful afternoon of music, fellowship, and laughter to celebrate the power of belonging and valued citizenship," wrote the society on the Town of Strathmore's website.

Doors open at 2:30 p.m. with performances beginning half an hour later.

Some of the featured performers include The Charms, Lewis Frere, Rosebud School of the Arts Choral, Music Discovery, and more.

Following the show there will be a dinner of pulled pork, salad, and pumpkin pie.

"Donations are gratefully accepted. Funds raised support Hope Bridges Society in providing inclusive music and arts programming in Strathmore and Wheatland County," wrote the society.

Tickets cost $25 and cover both the performances and the dinner. Tickets are available on the society's website and at the door.
