One person has been charged with Mischief after surveillance footage revealed he broke some windows at Sun Valley Co-op's Home Centre in Altona.

According to the Altona Police Service (APS), officers found the suspect at a nearby restaurant, where he was causing a disturbance, shortly after the incident.
    

This wasn't the only mischief complaint reported to Altona police over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Sometime over the holiday, representatives of the Altona Bergthaler Mennonite Church reported windows had been broken on the north and east sides of the building.

Additionally, someone went onto a private property and destroyed some decorations in the yard.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have information in relation to the incident at the Bergthaler Mennonite Church and asking them to contact them by phone at (204)324-5353 or email via police.services@altona.ca, or Crimestoppers at 800-222-8477, or any local law enforcement agency.
