A 29-year-old man has been charged after an altercation with Morden police officers early Sunday morning.
Shortly before 3:30 a.m., officers got a 9-1-1 call and say they could hear yelling in the background before the caller hung up.
When they arrived at the scene, officers spoke with a man who said all was well, however, police say he was shirtless and had blood on him. That's when another man came to the door and, according to officers, took a fighting stance with closed fists and began speaking aggressively to them.
Despite being told to calm down, he continued to advance towards police, screaming.
When the man was told he was under arrest for Assault, police say he punched an officer in the face. That's when he was tazed and safely taken into custody.
He was charged assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.
He's due in court in January.
