Staff with the Northwestern Health Unit are reporting no new cases of COVID-19 in the region today.

As it stands, there’s a total of two active cases of COVID-19 in the NWHU’s catchment area, with both cases located in the Rainy River district.

The NWHU is continuing to recommend that everyone, including those who have been vaccinated, assume COVID-19 is in their community and practice preventative measures like social distancing, good hand hygiene and not touching their face.

Anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms, or who has been in contact with a positive case, should self-isolate, get tested and remain in isolation until your test results are known.
