The minor football season ends in Moose Jaw this week as it goes out with a pair of exciting championship games.

On Friday, October 25, Kinsmen Moose Jaw Minor Football (KMJMF) is holding its U12 and U14 championship matchups at Elks Field. In U12 the Moose Jaw Bulldogs play the Moose Jaw Lions at 6 p.m. and in U14, the Weyburn Falcons come to town to face the Moose Jaw Raiders at 8 p.m.

"We've had some incredible games during an incredible season of football. Now we get to finish the year with some big-time football games that are guaranteed to entertain," said Bryan Boys, President of the KMJMF League.

This game is free to attend as the concession will be open for fans to enjoy. Kinsmen Sports Complex, which is home to Elks Field, underwent renovations to give fans an even better experience for seasons to come.

"If you come to spend your Friday night with us, you're going to hear a bunch of music, have a lot of fun, and see our volunteers doing an awesome job and creating a great atmosphere," stated Boys.

This will be a great opportunity for Moose Jaw to take in some local football as the season closes out for KMJMF in 2024.
