The summer was really great for the Irvin Goodon Wildlife Museum this year, says Boissevain-Morton Executive Assistant, Melissa Perkins.
"We saw just a ton of visitors and increased traffic which was wonderful! It kind of felt like we were back to those pre-covid normal summers for tourism travel," she says. "And a big showcase for us this year was the success of the artisan gallery within the museum."
The joint partnership between the Wildlife Museum and the Boissevain Arts Council and the talented local artists brought in 20 different artists.
In addition to the art inside the Wildlife Museum was the beautiful artwork outside by Jayden Goodon of the prairie bison, completed in time for the Truth & Reconciliation ceremony in September with the Boissevain School students and staff.
