The Moose Jaw area is expecting a high of 13 today.

Rose Carlsen, meteorologist with Environment Canada, said the reason for the warmer temperatures has been high pressure over the eastern Prairie Provinces, but they're expecting things to cool off tomorrow.

“There’s a system that is moving through northern Saskatchewan today – that's what’s ushering in the slightly colder air, which is why we’ve only got a high of 5 tomorrow.”

She said more normal temperatures for this time of year are expected to return after tomorrow. “Right back into the mid-to-upper single digits, which is fairly typical for this time of year.”
