The winless skid is now at 7 games and the Moose Jaw Warriors have dropped to last in the WHL standings. The Warriors were shutout 6-0 in Kelowna Friday, and dropped a 6-4 decision to the Blazers in Kamloops on Saturday. The Warriors will play the Cougars in Prince George tomorrow. 

In Junior C hockey, the Caronport Aviators battled to a 6-6 tie with the Emerald Park Wizards in their first game of the season on Saturday.

In Kinsmen Minor Football, the MJ Raiders won the U14 City Championship over the weekend with a 35-6 win over the Weyburn Falcons. 

5A 12-A-Side football on Saturday, MJ Peacock beat Swift Current 14-7, and Moose Jaw's Central Cyclones surprised previously undefeated Greenall Griffins 32-7.

Boys soccer, the Central Cyclones won the 4A provincial title.

At the Manitoba Open, Judo athletes from Moose Jaw won a number of medals. Those who won gold include Payton Pinel in U12 Female group 4, Aayla Lee-Neuman in U14 Female Novice -33 kg, Felix Leonard in U16 Male Advanced -50 kg, and Hawkins Jacobson in Senior Male Novice -73 kg. 

Game three of the World Series is tonight at Yankee Stadium with the Dodgers leading 2 games to none.

In case you missed it, the Saskatchewan Roughriders lost 27-12 to the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday. The Riders will host the BC Lions in the CFL West Semi-Final this Saturday.
