The Biggar School senior girls' volleyball teams had an impressive weekend, competing in three different tournaments and showcasing the depth of talent and dedication within the program. Divided into three teams—Senior A, Senior B, and a combined team—the girls brought their best to each match, with notable successes across the board.
The Senior A Team dominated at the Perdue tournament, going undefeated throughout the event and ultimately clinching the gold medal. he gold medal win is a testament to their consistent performance and hard work this season.
Meanwhile, the combined team represented Biggar School in Rosetown, where they took on strong competition and fought their way to the finals. The team earned second place, bringing home a well-deserved plaque that reflects their tenacity and skill. The Rosetown tournament was packed with talented teams from across the region, making the combined team’s runner-up finish an impressive accomplishment.
The Senior B Team headed to Kindersley and put forth a strong effort, playing skillfully and demonstrating the growth they’ve achieved this season. While they didn’t bring home a medal, the players gave it their all and gained valuable experience that will serve them well in future competitions.
