Morris man transported to hospital after Sunday afternoon rollover on Highway 23

A 36 year old male from Morris was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a single vehicle rollover Sunday afternoon.

According to RCMP, members from the Pembina Valley detachment received the report at 4:19 p.m. indicating the MVA on Highway 23 near Myrtle. The male driver was the lone occupant, and was travelling westbound when he oversteered and ended up rolling the vehicle into the ditch.

He was wearing a seatbelt.

Roland Fire Department also responded to the call.

RCMP did issue a ticket to the man for driving a vehicle without valid registration.
