The Strathmore Lions Club is looking for a few talented artists to submit their work for the 2024 Peace Poster Contest.
The program has been taking place across the globe according to George Bloom, a member of the club.
The contest is for kids in schools and youth groups to draw what they think world peace looks like.
"It's for ages 11 to 13 to participate in and the Strathmore contest has some pretty good prize money attached to it and it can elevate to the district level after that," added Bloom.
Bloom says 20 members make up the Lions Club team in Strathmore.
"In the past, there had been more than 60 I believe."
Bloom mentioned the group is looking for more members to join.
"We do all kinds of great fundraising things. On December 8 we're hosting a seniors Christmas tea at the Civic Centre."
The club also hosts a charity auction in the spring and raises money at the Strathmore Stampede by selling food to benefit local fundraising opportunities.
Submissions have to be given to local schools by November 14.
