The Saskatchewan Party’s Blaine McLeod has been projected by the provincial media as the winner of the Lumsden-Morse riding. 

McLeod and his wife Marlie have lived in the hamlet of Caron since 1975, and they have three children and 10 grandchildren. 

McLeod was first elected MLA for Lumsden-Morse in the 2023 by-election and has been a dairy farmer in Caronport for over 40 years, operating Caroncrest Farms Ltd. with his sons. 

Before serving as MLA for Lumsden-Morse, McLeod served as the Saskatchewan Director with Dairy Farmers of Canada, and has been involved with school boards, church groups and various other community organizations.
