As of 11 p.m., enough votes had been counted in Moose Jaw North to declare the constituency for incumbent Tim McLeod, who was Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, Seniors, and Rural and Remote Health prior to the provincial legislature dissolving for the election.

McLeod was first elected in 2020, after Warren Michelson declined to seek re-election. Michelson held the seat for the Sask Party from 2007 to 2020.

In 2020, McLeod won his seat with 4,733 votes vs the NDP’s 2,532.

In 2024, McLeod campaigned on the Sask Party’s record in the province, while his opponent, the NDP’s Cheantelle Fisher, focused her campaign on calling for change.
