The Mayoral Forum will be taking place in the Upper Level Conference Room at the Moose Jaw Events Centre from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., candidates vying for the position of Mayor of Moose Jaw will have an opportunity to introduce themselves and answer questions.
“We do have some really good candidates here, and very proud to say that each one of these have got the ability to become the mayor,” said Rob Clark, CEO of the Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce.
The five people running for mayor include Clive Tolley running for re-election, Crystal Froese, James Murdock, Kim Robinson, and Mike Simpkins.

Clark spoke about the setup of the forum. “They get three minutes to introduce themselves, tell us a little about themselves and some of the attributes that they're going to bring.”
“They’ll draw a name out of a hat in which order they go, and then when they do their follow-up question at the end of the evening, we’ll just reverse that.”
Clark revealed that one of the questions to be asked is ‘What distinct leadership strength would you bring to City Hall if elected the next Mayor of Moose Jaw? Please provide examples of your leadership strength to assist us in identifying you as an effective mayor.’
People attending the event in-person will also have an opportunity to ask questions.
