Foothills County under a blanket of fog

Foothills County residents have woken up to a blanket of fog this morning.

Environment Canada has issued a Fog Advisory for Foothills County today, as there are areas of dense fog with almost zero visibility this morning.

The visibility may become significantly reduced to near zero suddenly, so they expect travel to be hazardous due to the lack of visibility in some areas.

In areas of reduced visibility, slow down, keep an eye out for taillights ahead, and be ready to stop.

The conditions are expected to improve late this morning.
