The Reid Thompson Library welcomes Saskatchewan writer Marilyn Frey for a reading on Wednesday, November 6 at 6 pm.
Marilyn Frey will be reading from her autobiography “Reflections in a Farmhouse Window.” Her memoir draws readers into a much simpler time in the 1960s and 1970s growing up on a farm in central Saskatchewan where hard work and discipline help develop a strong work ethic and character.”
Of the memoir, reviewer Shelley Leedahl said, “It’s rare to read a first-time, self-published writer’s book that sings the way this one does: it’s clear that Frey has put the time in re: learning the craft of writing.”
Enjoy an evening of rural Saskatchewan reminiscences with Marilyn Frey at the Reid Thompson Public Library. The reading is presented with the support of the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild.
