Okotoks is looking a little bit greener these days.
At least it is along South Railway Street, just east of Veterans Way.
The lot was recently leveled, graded and sprayed with grass seed.
On Facebook, Okotoks Town Councillor Rachel Swenseid says the work was done to bring the area up to town standards and she also mentioned that the area could also be used for overflow parking now for events such as Light Up Okotoks.
