There are numerous things happening in Okotoks this weekend.
On top of the weather still being above zero this weekend, there is still fun to be had before the snow flies.

The Okotoks Art Gallery will be hosting a Painting Alberta scavenger hunt from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the Okotoks Museum and Archive have their Little Moccasins and We Remember Veterans exhibitions on display.
Sunday, November 3
It's Toonie swim at the Okotoks Rec Centre from 12:30 to 2 p.m. and there is free leisure skating all day at the peanut rink at the Viking Rentals Centre.
Okotoks Councilor Rachel Swendseid says that her top three picks for this weekend are:
"Since it is November 1st, and the poppy fundraiser has kicked off. Every Saturday, the Legion does hold a meat draw, which helps raise funds for their Legion. It's in coordination with the Elks and they do a Chase the Ace. Kids are welcome," Swendseid says.
The second activity she wants to highlight is the Open Mic Night at The Point.
"It's actually hosted by an amazing Okotoks Youth, and his name is Dave."
The third activity Swendseid highlighted was the Toonie swim and the peanut rink.
"So, Sunday, grab your skates. It's a great place to learn to skate or bring your little kids."
