RCMP have provided more details on two crashes that the Hanover Fire Department responded to over the weekend.

According to police, there was a single-vehicle rollover Saturday evening along Road 35E. It happened north of the Old Tom Road and Park Road intersection. Police say the single-vehicle rollover happened at 8:40 pm and was reported through iPhone collision notification.

According to RCMP, a pickup truck was travelling along Road 35E, lost control, over-corrected and rolled.

Police say the 19-year-old female driver from New Bothwell, along with her two passengers were transported to hospital with serious injuries. The two passengers are a 20-year-old male from La Broquerie and a 20-year-old male from Steinbach.

According to Hanover Fire Chief Paul Wiebe, two of the occupants were ejected. One individual was transported to hospital by STARS air ambulance.

Police say liquor may have been a factor in this collision.

The investigation continues.

Then on Sunday, there was a crash along Highway 12 at Road 31N, about two and a half miles south of Steinbach. Police say it happened at 8:15 pm.

According to RCMP, a southbound vehicle along Highway 12 had stopped, when it was hit from behind by another southbound vehicle.

Police say the 55-year-old male driver and his 51-year-old female passenger, in the vehicle that was hit, both from the Rural Municipality of Hanover, were transported to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The 34-year-old female driver from Winnipeg, in the vehicle that drove into the other car, was arrested for impaired driving and taken back to the Steinbach RCMP detachment where she provided breath samples that were three times the legal limit. She was later released with a court appearance scheduled in Steinbach.
