A female is facing drug and weapon charges after Winkler Police responded to a call Saturday.
According to the department's latest activities report, officers were dispatched to a parking lot on Main Street for a report of a verbal argument between a male and female.
The female appeared to be under the influence of a drug, and was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act. It was then that police located on her person a weapon, and what appeared to be fentanyl.
She was then arrested for Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance.
She was later released on an Undertaking with a future court date in Morden Provincial Court.
