Separate Winkler trailer and vehicle thefts remain under investigation

Winkler Police Service continues to investigate separate vehicle and trailer thefts in the city.

On October 30th, a trailer was reported stolen from a property on Viking Road. It is a PJ Trailers dump style trailer with plate number CMC 891.

The same day a male reported his vehicle was stolen from his workplace on Badger Avenue. It's a 2006 Ford F 3-50 Crew Cab, grey in colour, with plate number KEC 302.

And then on Halloween, a report was received regarding an attempted vehicle theft that occurred on either Main Street South or Market Street. Police say the vehicle had pry marks on the door, and both the front and rear licence plates were stolen.
